So I have a lower mid range setup with B&W 683 s1’s, a HTM62, and a klipsch R-12SW paired to an Onkyo TX-NR609. Right now I’m streaming off a fire stick 4k max and using the optical output on my tv to send the sound to my receiver. I’ve been thinking about getting a WiiM pro plus as a dedicated streamer. Could I still run my sub with that setup and do you think this would improve the sound quality?

Apparently my ears lived a full life, has 5 grand children, has a wealthy house and job, and has a beautiful wife.

Rock'n out with a pair of Steinway awesome instruments! I say instruments because they were about $120K combined and (8) 12" subs each(4front/4rear)! No distortion and filling that large conference room nicely🙌 Enjoyed your presentation, and looks like i made the very beginning of the video 👊

The review is supposed to be about the speakers. I see more of you and hear more of you than I see or hear the speakers. So, was this review more about you or the speakers?

Another interesting fact for this sub.... Kef offers a kit that allows you to stack 2 or 3 of these subs on top of each other. Two subs stacked is equivalent to a Blade Meta 1 in output and distortion... Could you imagine making a psuedo-Blade using a stack of two or three of these subs DSP'd to integrate with a Reference 1 or even an R3 Meta? ORRR you can get even nuttier and stack two or three (depending on speaker height) under a Ci3160REFM or a Ci3160RLM? You'd have a full-range setup with near-zero SBIR that's also doubling as your LFE. Yowza.

Wow.... so basically for HT, just one sub has the ability to play at reference level.. For music, it may be limited depending on the multi-tone distortion. So dang cool.

I would like to know your opinion regarding the sound between these or the Kanto YU4, I am thinking of buying either of these two, thank you.

You have to have a subwoofer playing too right? Because if you don’t, those speakers have some serious bass.

i own one of this. it works perfectly for amazon firstick 4k and 1080 p stick and it extracts 5.1 perfectly. However, for bluray player it does n't support 5.1 always stereo

Finally got the OSD Trevoce 12 sounding Awesome with Deep bass. Had to remove the LFE cable and use the Dual unbalanced RCA (Red & White). Onkyo Crossover at 50 HZ, LFE set to Off. Subwoofer knob crossover all the way Up to 200 HZ (Bypass method). Now it hits very hard and deep but just with the big action movies for Bass. Most movies you want the AVR at 80 HZ which will also be the THX level on my Onkyo THX Dolby Atmos receiver TX-NR696 for $349. No Speakers just subwoofer. Using Soundbar with my TV for the 9 speakers Atmos sound

I can appreciate these folks' honest feedback about their listening experience, but the real proof is whether they actually pull out their wallet and purchase. One has to spend $199 for MEQ-X (or more for DIRAC) and $99 for SACT all before dumping another $250 into Magic Beans. Whether it is worth it or not I cannot speak to but, unfortunately, I think the overall cost of admission is the biggest barrier Magic Beans will have to overcome.

I really commend you guys for what you have done. I bought a 6700H secondhand for 800 bucks and I genuinely look forward to doing this in the future hopefully sooner than later. Do you guys have or have you thought of making tutorial videos that walk you through all of the steps? The reason why I ask is by breaking it down into smaller more digestible content you should be able to capture a much broader audience. Such as the people who appreciate the ease of Audyssey, but are underwhelmed by its performance.
